Account deletion

Delete your ChatGymity account.

You can permanently delete your account and the data we hold for you at any time. There's no waiting period and no need to contact us first — deletion is one tap from inside the app. If you can't access the app, see Delete by email below.

Before you delete: export your data

Deletion is irreversible. If you want a copy of your training history, weight logs, body measurements, photos, or chat transcripts before they're removed, use Settings → Your data → Exportfirst. The export is a ZIP you can re-import later if you change your mind —only if you re-import before deletion completes.

Delete from inside the app (recommended)

On any signed-in device:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and the data described below are removed from our infrastructure within seconds. The app signs you out and returns to the welcome screen.

Delete by email (if you can't access the app)

If you've lost access to the device, can't sign in, or the app won't open for any reason, email us and we'll delete the account on your behalf:

  • To: nidal.nawatha@lootlift.com
  • Subject: Delete my account
  • In the body: the email address you signed up with, and which provider you used (Google or Apple).

We verify the request by replying to the email address on file and asking you to confirm. Once confirmed, deletion completes within 7 days. If we can't verify the request, we'll tell you so — we will not delete an account on the basis of an email we can't link back to its owner.

What gets deleted

Immediately removed from our infrastructure:

  • Your profile (name, email, age, fitness level, goals).
  • Workout history, training plans, sessions, and sets.
  • Weight logs and body measurements.
  • Progress photos (deleted from storage, not just the database).
  • Chat conversations with the AI coach and AI memory entries.
  • Your authentication identifiers (Google ID, Apple ID) and any active sessions on your devices.
  • Your subscription association in our records. (If you want to cancel a paid subscription, do so in your Google Play or App Store account — deleting the ChatGymity account does notautomatically cancel a subscription that's billed by the store.)

What we keep, and why

A small set of records is retained after deletion for fraud prevention and legal-compliance purposes. These are described in detail in our privacy policy; in summary:

  • Pseudonymous deletion fingerprints — one-way hashes of your email, Google ID, and Apple ID, kept so a deleted account can't silently re-create itself to abuse the trial. The hashes can't be reversed back to identifiers.
  • Subscription audit log — webhook events from the App Store / Google Play associated with your purchases. Your direct user identifier in this log is set to null at deletion. Retained per Israeli record-keeping requirements (minimum 7 years).
  • Crash reports older than the platform retention — anonymous crash reports in Sentry are retained for 30 days under their default retention; we don't propagate deletion to that pool because the records are not linked to your identity.
